The problem was never the chocolate.
Real chocolate is cocoa and cocoa butter. Cocoa butter is solid in your hand and melts at body temperature, which is why proper chocolate snaps when you break it and goes soft the second it's on your tongue. Almost nothing else does that.
It's also the most expensive thing in the bar. So in most snack bars it comes out and palm oil goes in, and the word on the back quietly changes. If it says chocolatey, now you know why.
We kept the cocoa butter. Then we built a better bar underneath it.

Are the two packs really free?
Yes. A pack of six is £16.99. Choose Buy 2, Get 2 Free and you pay for two packs, £33.98, and four arrive. That's 24 bars at £1.42 each. You'll see the saving in the bundle box before you pay.
Can I mix flavours?
Yes. Every pack in your bundle has its own flavour choice, so Buy 2, Get 2 Free can be four packs of Cookie Dough, four of Jammy Cherry, or two of each. The price is the same whichever you pick.
Is this a protein bar?
It's a chocolate snack bar that happens to carry 12g of plant protein and 8g of fibre. We built it to taste like a treat first, which is why there's real chocolate on the outside and no sugar alcohols anywhere.
How sweet is it?
Properly sweet. The sweetness comes from dates with a little monk fruit, so there's no cooling chemical finish and no chalky aftertaste. Each bar has 12g of sugar and 0g polyols, and both numbers are on the label above.
How should I store 24 bars?
Somewhere cool and dry, and one pack in the fridge, because that's where they're best. Every bar has its best-before date printed on the wrapper.
Is it suitable if I have allergies?
The bars contain peanuts and are made in a facility that also handles other nuts, soy and sesame, so they aren't for everyone. They're vegan with no gluten or dairy ingredients. The full ingredient list is above. If fibre-rich snacks are new to you, start with one bar a day.
Is this a subscription?
No. It's a one-off order. Nothing renews and there's nothing to cancel.
What does delivery cost and how long does it take?
Delivery is free across the UK. We dispatch within 1 working day and it's tracked, so it's usually with you in 3 to 5 working days.
How does the First Bar Promise work?
Open one pack and try a bar. Not for you? Email hello@getfeasted.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number, and we'll reply with our returns address. Post back every unopened pack within 14 days, free ones included. Packs must reach us sealed and undamaged, so use a sturdy box or padded envelope and a tracked service, since we can only refund packs we receive. Return postage is at your cost. We refund each accepted pack at the price you paid per pack (your order total divided by the number of packs), to your original payment method, within 14 days of arrival. Opened packs aren't refunded, and any free mug or tee is yours to keep. One promise per person and per delivery address. Your statutory rights are not affected.
